- This is the only level in the game where Japanese suicide bombers appear who pretend to be corpses.
- On the loading screen, you can see an NPC armed with an M55 Reising. However, he is not present at the level itself.
- Conlin's last words maybe hint at a sequel that never came out, he's said: "November 23rd, 1943, when the smoke had cleared more than 5000 Americans and Japanese men had lost their lives on a beach not much wider than a few football fields, Japanese Admiral once said: They couldn't take Tarawa without a million men in a hundred years.
