Trivia[]
- The level is not just continuation of Tarawa (Prologue), but a full reset and expanded further.
- Even though the level has a similar scene to Tarawa (Prologue), the enemy's damage is increased & their MGs position have very good angular firing arcs.
- Tommy's words about Frank in the cutscene depend on whether able or not the player saved Frank on the Flyboys.
- In the cutscene, Marines in a LVT armed with a M1903 Springfield, in the game they are armed with M1 Carbine.
- Early videos show that the player used M1919A4 on LVT, not M2 Browning.
- If level is started using the console, the Captain will be armed with M1 Carbine, and Gaines will be armed with M1903/A5 Springfield, although he anyway regrets that he did not take a his rifle.
- If the player tries to get near the pier near where the LVT was destroyed, they will instantly die.
- It's possible to avoid the fall damage after first-disembarking the LVT by "rubbing" against the poles/invisible wall to the player's right when dropping down, this can be helpful if the turret section left the player with too little health to survive the drop normally.
