SAS's leadership is not the US's National Command Authority. SAS is a British SOF unit with British leadership. They take orders from the americans only when on deployment as apart of a multinational task force (given that the task force is led by a US officer). One example is Task Force 121, where the SAS was known as TF Black.
Rather than taking orders from the US's NCA, the SAS takes orders from the UK equivalent of that (don't know what it's called).TheFrantic0utlaw 14:27, April 17, 2012 (UTC)
