Captain Swanson is a character featured in Medal of Honor: European Assault. He is a member of the American 101st Airborne Division and participates in the Battle of the Bulge.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Swanson enlisted in the US Army sometime prior to 1944 and was placed with the 101st Airborne Division, eventually being posted to defend the Belgian town of Bastogne.

Battle of the Bulge[edit | edit source]

In January 1945, Swanson led the assault on a secret German weapons facility. He commanded his troops to lay down a base of fire while Lieutenant William Holt, an American agent with the Office of Strategic Services, infiltrates the complex and destroys the bomb as well as the facility, killing its commander Graf von Schrader in the process.
