The Rifle grenade is a grenade launcher featured in Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: Breakthrough and Medal of Honor: Airborne as an upgrade for the rifles. There are two kind of rifle grenade launchers featured in the series: the german "Schiessbecher" or "Shooting cup" (in english) and the american M7A1 Rifle Grenade Launcher. In both games the rifle grenade launcher works similarly.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault: Breakthrough[]

The rifle grenade is first introduced in the expansion pack Breakthrough for the Germans in the multiplayer as a replacement weapon for the shotgun. The rifle is a Kar98k with a unique grey skin and the front of the rifle is wrapped up. The rifle grenade can be attached by the secondary fire button. The grenades have a short to medium range, but the grenades will detonate on impact.

Medal of Honor: Airborne[]

In Airborne two types of rifle grenades are featured: The M7A1 for the M1 Garand and the Springfield and the "Schiessbecher" for the Kar98k and the Gewehr 43. The grenades can be attached with the alternate fire button and have a much higher range than it's Breakthrough counterpart. The grenades can explode on impact or with one second timer. The ammo for the grenade launcher is the regular hand grenades (Mark II for the M7A1 and Stielhandgranate for the Schiessbecher).
