The Remote Charge takes the place of Grenades for the Demolition class in the Medal of Honor Warfighter multiplayer. Contrary to popular belief this is not a C4 charge. The plastic explosive used in the Remote Charge is SEMTEX as evident by the word "SEMTEX" visible on the explosive. The charge is deployed in the same way as any thrown explosive is. To detonate the player must simply hit the deploy button a second time after it hits the ground.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter []

The deployable/throwing range is the shortest of any explosive and takes considerably longer to deploy than a standard timed grenade. For balance reasons, the player only receives one remote charge.

The charge will stick to surfaces so they are used with deadly effeciency when it comes to defending PETN caches or high-traffic areas. Unlike the Sniper's PDM Proximity Mine, the Remote Charge does not have a limited time to be deployed before it self-destructs. The Remote Charge can also be shot and detonated with relative ease as a means of E.O.D. (Explosive Ordinance Disposal) or taking advantage of an unaware friendly units charge.

Trivia[]

  • On the side of the charge it says "get well soon".
