Cheat - Men With Hats (Entrenching Tool required)[]
After the howitzer you cross a river and right after the river there's a save game point to the right. The cheat can be collected by using the Entrenching Tool on a chunk of dirt near the save game radio. This is tested for PS2 only, it might be possible that on other platforms such as Game Cube or the original Xbox the location of this item is different. Another possible location for this cheat on other platforms is on the save game point right next to the first gun you destroy. There's a small room behind the gun with the save game radio and possibly the cheat.
Film canister 1 - Martin Clemens (Valor in History)[]
Once you reach the howitzer hill, mount the howitzer and shoot at the darker of the rocks that's right in front of you. After the rock is destroyed you can find the first film canister.
Film canister 2 - Storyboards[]
After you destroy the second gun and before you reach the third gun, there's a cave complex. To reach the third gun there are two ways up. One made out of land, and one made out of a wooden stairs. On the back of the cave there's are slopes that lead up to the third gun. Right on the base of these slopes you can find the film canister. This is tested for PS2 only, it might be possible that on other platforms such as Game Cube or the original Xbox the location of this item is different.
Multiplayer Skin - Lt. Harrison (Skeleton key required)[]
The skin chest in this level is located in the main hut in the POW camp. Like all skin chests, you need the Skeleton key of the level to unlock it.
Tool - Machete[]
The Machete tool can be found under the main hut in the POW camp. Player can just go behind and under the hut to collect the machete. Once collected, player will be able to access secret paths and areas throughout the game.
Secret area[]
There's a secret detour that player can take to flank the howitzer emplacement from the rear. Once you exit the POW camp, the normal route requires you to go to the right. Trivia[]
- Martin Clemens is the only real life person to appear in the game.
- Despite Dean and the other POW breathing when they're cut from their bonds, they don't follow Griffin, and just lay down. Either they are unconscious or exhausted.
- Pvt. Thomason for some reason will not follow you after you clear the camp, despite him being part of your squad.
- The player can prevent receiving the Thompson SMG from Clemens by rushing forward to the caves before talking to Clemens at the waterfall.
- Clemens may sometimes not appear at the brook, leaving Selas or Keip to fend off the Japanese soldiers alone; this also prevents the player from receiving the Thompson SMG, although ammo for the gun will still appear.
- The mission's storyboard reveals that the player was originally meant to use a cord to cave-in the second artillery emplacement and shoot an pack of explosives to destroy the bridge.
- For unknown reasons, the tank machine gun in this level will target but not shoot the player.
