The PDM 86 (PDM) is a small U.S. anti-personnel mine intended to be used by special forces to deter pursuing forces. It is being featured in Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter[]

"A highly effect antipersonnel mine, when deployed, the M86 releases several tripwires to effectively denying access and movement to an area with far greater effect than a single device. However, it has a limited operating life and will detonate after a predetermined time."
— Battlelog Description

The PDM appears in Medal of Honor: Warfighter's multiplayer. It is given to the Sniper class. Each Sniper is given 2 PDMs. Once deployed, it extends several long ropes (most likely detcord), being propelled by explosives, into any nearby object. These ropes act as tripwire for any enemy combatant that walks into them. PDM's cannot be thrown far, and will self-destruct after 2-minutes have passed since placement. Putting them near objectives is a good defensive strategy, such as around PETN caches and bomb sites.
