The SIG Sauer P226 is a sidearm featured only in the single player of Medal of Honor (2010) and featured in Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The P226 is a full-sized, service-type pistol made by SIG Sauer. It is chambered for the 9x19mm Parabellum, .40 S&W, .357 SIG and .45 ACP. The P226 and its variants are in service with numerous law enforcement and military organizations worldwide. The Navy SEALs chose to adopt the P226 after a repetition of catastrophic slide failures with some issued Beretta M9s.

Medal of Honor (2010)

The P226 is Rabbit's sidearm of choice, operating it with and without a suppressor. In-game it is shown as having an 18+1 round capacity due to Mec-Gar's flush fit magazines. It has the highest magazine capacity of all the available handguns in-game.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter

"Swiss precision and German engineering combine to bring the stalwart P-226. Choice of many US Navy Seals."
— Battlelog Description

Singleplayer

The SIG Sauer P226 serves to be Preacher's sidearm of choice, appearing both silenced and unsilenced. It is the only handgun to have the silencer or any attachment for that matter. It is the last weapon used in the campaign to kill the Cleric in Shut it Down.

Multiplayer

The SIG Sauer P226 is available in multiplayer as the standard sidearm for the Assaulter Class. It has the second largest magazine of the pistols, behind the Glock 18, and moderate damage.
