Medal of Honor is a first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series, developed by EA Los Angeles and DICE, released on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in October 2010. The game is a reboot of the series, set in Afghanistan during the early 2000s. Medal of Honor's single-player campaign uses a modified version of Unreal Engine 3, and its multiplayer using the Frostbite engine. The emphasis is on realism, with EA going as far as to bring in consultants from the United States Special Forces. It includes the kinds of objectives and tasks issued in real life such as raiding terrorist hideouts, hostage rescues and undercover operations. read more...

Welcome to the Medal of Honor Wiki

A collaborative encyclopedia about the Medal of Honor series that anyone can edit!

Medal of Honor is a series of first-person shooter games developed by and published by Electronic Arts and its subsidiaries and affiliates. It is one of the most well-known shooter series, and was one of the pioneers of World War II shooter games. It was created by American film director Steven Spielberg.

The games put the player in the boots of an American soldier or operative. Most of the games are set during World War II, but a few focus on modern warfare. The games are often characterized by linear gameplay through recognizable WWII-era areas of conflict, which is sometimes presented in a cinematic tone.
