The McMillan TAC-300 is an American bolt-action sniper rifle featured in Medal of Honor: Warfighter. The TAC-300 is designed for long-range tactical scenarios. It is chambered in .300 Winchester Magnum. In real-life U.S Navy SEALs use the TAC-338 which uses powerful .338 Lapua Magnum and looks very similiar to the TAC-300.
Stump uses a TAC-300 in the end of the mission: Shore Leave where he takes out pirates armed with AK rifles and RPGs. In the sniping sequence the player has to compensate for wind and bullet drop when firing.
There's an achievement involving the TAC-300 called Leftover Lead that the player has to kill all pirates during the sniper sequence without missing a single shot.
The TAC-300 is first available for those who pre-ordered the game. Without it the TAC-300 is unlocked at Rank 5 along with the UDT Sniper. The TAC-300 is much slower than the CS5 but it the TAC-300 has more effective range. One of the downsight of the rifle is the small magazine capacity with 5 rounds + 1 in the chamber. It is an one-shot kill weapon if it's a headshot.
