Medal of Honor: Rising Sun

The imperial Japanese Navy appears in the final level "Supercarrier Sabotage" where they replace the Imperial Japanese Army. "Toshikaze" is the name of the Japanese aircraft carrier of which the mission takes place.

Uniforms

• Sailors wear white sailor oufits with small naval hats, some sailors also wear brown flak vests.
• Officers wear all white unforms with buttons and white officer hats.
• Captains have the same look as officers but also include binoculars around their neck.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault

In the mission "Flyboys" Thomas conlin and his squad are returning to what they believe to be their fleet, but it then turns out to be a Japanese aircraft carrier and destroyer.

The planes on the aircraft carrier must be destroyed first to stop the fighters launching, but this is difficult as the carrier has 6 AA guns to defend itself.

The destoyer is notably weaker than the carrier.

Japanese Marines are also encountered in the game.

Trivia

• Originally, Griffin was supposed to encounter Japanese Marines on Toshikaze, but they were scrapped for unknown reason, presumably replaced with sailors.
