Medal of Honor: Rising Sun[]
- The I.J.A first appears in the mission "Fall of the Philippines" where after they become the most common enemies throughout the rest of the campaign only to be replaced by the Imperial Japanese Navy in the final mission.
Uniform[]
- Soldiers wear khaki uniforms with netted helmets and backpacks, some rarely appear without the backpack, some soldiers also appear with bandannas with the Japanese flag.
- Ghilies wear the same uniforms, but with leafs on their backs and helmets.
- Officers wear green uniforms with officer caps and a sheath for their Katana.

Imperial Japanese Army is the main enemy fought throughout the whole game.
Uniform[]
- Infantry have khaki uniforms with steel helmets with leather covers, some wear backpacks.
- Ghilies wear bush camouflage similar to the one in Rising Sun, but with the addition of a face camo.
- Corpsmen wear the same khaki uniforms as infantry, but without backpacks, they also have a small medicine bag on their side which they use to revive wounded soldiers.
- Workers wear a white shirt, brown trousers and a small cap.
- Officers wear dark brown uniforms with bright orange boots and brown helmets.
- NCOs lack the colored boots and their uniforms have a much more lighter khaki color.
