Biography[]
Galloway was a member of the 6th Airborne Division deployed to Normandy as part of Operation Neptune. He and two other British paratroopers, Private Wilson and their captain, known only by his callsign "Foxhound", met with Sergeant Jack Barnes shortly after they landed. He and his squad were ordered to sabotage enemy equipment, destroy artillery emplacements and kill Waffen S.S. Colonel Hildebrandt. He was killed in action while approaching a house occupied by German forces, shortly after having destroyed a sewer grate blocking the squad's way.
