Combat Mission returns as one of the game modes in Medal of Honor: Warfighter.

The game mode pits the Away team as the attackers and the Home team as the defenders. The attackers are tasked with blowing up three consecutive PETN caches without running out of tickets, while the defenders are tasked with defending the caches and reducing the attackers' tickets down to zero. The attackers are given 75 tickets to blow up an objective.

Unlike 2010, all maps are playable in this game mode.

  • Combat Mission is very similar to the Invader game mode in Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault.
    • It also bears resemblance to the Rush game mode from the Battlefield series.
  • Ambient radio and battle-chatter can be heard while this game mode is being played.
  • Each of the Combat Mission maps were built specifically for the Combat Mission game mode and the storyline around each map.
