Walkthrough[]

When you get in a WACO glider, your glider will fall. You and Pike will be only survivors. Alone with him, kill the Germans, and you will see another glider down, destroy the door of a house, you will see more allies on the battlefield. After you blow the large wooden gates behind the blue truck, you will fight against Fallschirmjägers. Go to a church, protect Sgt.Magnusson and release him (his parachute is stuck in the church roof) after long firefight. The church will be attacked by many Germans, and you can use MG42 machine guns on the windows to protect it. In ending cutscene, you will open a door trying to escape the church, and you will be hit in the face by a German with Stg 44, thus finishing level.

Trivia[]

  • This level marks the first appearence of the german paratroopers since the level Mayhem in Monastery in Medal of Honor Underground.
  • This is first appearence of the Sturmgewehr 44 and Browning Automatic Rifle in this game.
  • There is only one German paratrooper in whole level using Mauser k98.
  • In this level we can find the STG 44, but it is almost impossible to obtain it, since the enemies that we kill and that have this weapon will not drop it, instead they will drop grenades and ammunition boxes. If you want to get the “Weapons Expert” medal, you will have to die or restart the level to get it.
  • In this level we can also find two members of the Heer Infantry with STG 44.
  • The unknown soldier who was with Chalmers and Garrett will be immortal until he reaches the church where Magnuson is, when the shooting starts, he will die instantly.
  • At the beginning of the level, the mythical Michael Giacchino piece of music, "Rjuken Sabotage" from the first Medal of Honor, will be heard, but, like other pieces of music in the game, it will be cut and its name will not be "Rjuken Sabotage", but “Behind Enemy Lines”, the same name as the level name.
  • Also, when facing the German paratroopers, Medal of Honor Frontline's "Thüringer Wald Express" will be played, but it will be cut and his name is like his division's name, "Fallschirmjäger".
  • It is unknown what happens to the German paratrooper who knocks out Keegan at the end of the level.
