An archeologist greeting Manon
The Archeologists are German archeologists that wear Khaki uniforms with Pith helmets and are armed with Walther P38 pistols. Despite being archeologists, most of their work is considered baseless. They have been tasked chiselling Swastikas in the walls of Ancient Greek Ruins at Knossos to make it appear that the Aryans were the ones to start the ancient Greek civilisation as well as recovering artifacts and sending them back to Germany. They are protected by Mountain Troopers who have installed a 15cm sFH 18 battery within the ruins.

They appear only in the third mission Undercover in Crete in the second level What Lies at Knossos. They appear alongside Mountain Troopers and Officers. They will be fooled by Manon's disguise and will pose for a picture if you point a camera at them. If Manon's cover is blown then they will pull Walther P38 pistols on her and attack. They may fake a surrender, but when the Manon turns away, the archeologist will get a gun and attack her. There are seven of them that appear in the level and all must be eliminated in order complete the mission.
