Numerically the most important floatplane of the IJN, it could carry a crew of three and a bombload of 250 kg (550 lb). The Navy designation was "Navy Type Zero Reconnaissance Seaplane" (零式水上偵察機).

Medal of Honor: Rising Sun[]

In the mission " A Bridge on the River Kwai " Jake is near the docks. In the course of performing additional tasks (Disable Barge Dock) these aircraft are usually destroyed. After the player destroys the train and jumps off the bridge Tanaka will come and rescue them in a Jake seaplane. In the opening cutscene for the mission "Supercarrier sabotage" Tanaka lands the player and Bromley on the ship and disguises himself as an japanese naval officer

A Jake seaplane also appears in the multiplayer map Hangar Havoc as a static prop.

Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault[]

The Aichi E138 appears in the Mandown B were it appears on a dock, the plane can be destroyed with an explosive such as a satchel charge. Jake seaplanes also appear in Flyboys were they have to be destroyed on the island segment. Crashed seaplanes were also seen on Tarawa.
