The 75th Ranger Regiment is a sub-division of the Army Rangers.

Overview

They are airlifted into the Shahikot valley to destroy a large contingent of insurgent fighters. Most of the Rangers are scripted objects, existing with the sole intent of adding intensity to the campaign: immediately after the initial ambush, the Rangers are seen being shot at from numerous directions. They go to destroy many anti air emplacements that are hampering the deployment of the Rangers.

After several missions, they are given new orders to go up into the mountains and rescue four Tier 1 operatives that have been reported Missing In Action. They attack the mountains but come under heavy fire. After clearing the LZ, two rangers move up into the mountains, find AFO Neptune members Voodoo and Preacher. The mixed unit goes to another enemy bunker and finds the remaining two AFO members.
